Anubhav is an actuary with nearly 12 years of experience across property & casualty insurance, life insurance, employee benefits & ESOPs, and rewards programmes. His projects have spanned India, the UK, and the Middle East.

In insurance, his experience centres on reserving, capital modelling, reporting (IFRS 17), and process improvement, with pricing as a secondary area.

He has previously worked in multiple consulting firms (including a Big 4), the Indian insurance regulator, and a life insurance company.

He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK, and the Institute of Actuaries of India, specializing in general (property & casualty) insurance, and holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Anubhav brings deep expertise in actuarial science and financial modelling, backed by 12 years of experience across insurance, employee benefits, and rewards programmes spanning multiple geographies. He has held positions at multiple consulting firms (including a Big 4), the Indian insurance regulator, and a life insurance company.

As the founder, he sets TailVaR's strategic direction and leads all aspects of client delivery.

He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK, and the Institute of Actuaries of India, specializing in general (property & casualty) insurance, and holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Amitabh Chattoraj

Amitabh brings a distinguished banking background spanning 45 years, the first 25 of which were at SBI, India's largest bank, followed by 20 years of learning and development experience with a banking focus.

Amitabh's hands-on banking experience spanned operations, branch management, credit control, and HR. In his L&D career, he has worked with various prominent Indian organizations, including NIIT, the Times Group, the Manipal Group, and the Symbiosis International University. He has delivered over 18,000 training hours and trained and placed 15,000 freshers in the banking domain.

Amitabh holds an MBA and is a CAIIB (Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers). He is a consulting advisor to the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India and a member of the Indian Society for Training and Development.
